Curses are a group of Vanity Items in Sea of Thieves, which tin can be equipped at the Vanity Breast. Curses are a purely corrective element of the game and add together no in-game benefits. They are acquired as rewards for specific Tall Tales related Commendations.

Curse effects volition cover Makeup and Scars, just do not override them. The Shores of Gold Curse volition give Scars a golden appearance wherever they overlap.
